Miyamoto on Super Mario Bros Wii

Shigeru Miyamoto shares his thoughts about New Super Mario Bros Wii in a chit chat with Satoru Iwata, Nintendo's President. He mentioned how he made the turtle enemies vulnerable :
"But turtles aren't just borrowing their shells like hermit crabs, you know!" scolded his boss.
"That's just ridiculous!" agreed Miyamoto. "No, turtles' spines develop to become shells, so of course real turtles aren't actually able to fly out of their shells... I knew that I was lying to children," he confessed.

Miyamoto on Job application

Shigeru Miyamoto has said he wouldn't get in if he was applying for a job at Nintendo  :

"Nintendo has become one of those companies that graduates from colleges and good universities really want to work for," Miyamoto told Edge in its latest issue.

"Because of that, the competition's really become so fierce for positions. And that means that a lot of the recent recruits for Nintendo have tended to have the higher degree from the prestigious colleges and universities and whatnot.

"I often say to Mr Iwata: 'If I was applying for a job here today, I, with my actual college degree, would probably not have been employed by Nintendo!'"
